Some fantastic play by the Dane has been rewarded with a fantastic MSI prize!
The PLAY CS 1.6 event was a huge success, with teams from across Europe all competing with their chance to pick up some truly fantastic prizes. However, the prizes weren't just for 1st, 2nd and 3rd position, there was also a special reward for the MVP of the Cup.
It was a tough decision seeing as there was some fantastic play in the Cup, but there was one Danish star who stood out from the others... a big congratulations must go to Michael 'Friis' Jørgensen from TCM-Gaming, as he has been rewarded as MVP and will receive one of the worlds best gaming laptops, the MSI GT680.

As previously stated, it was a tough decision due to the brilliant play by players, with FnaticMSI and TCM-Gaming going head to head in the Final, they were both on 11 games and this gave them the edge over the rest of the participants. With this being said, here is the details of the Cup stats for the two teams who reached the final:

Operations Manager of FnaticMSI, Danijel 'StreeT' Remus questions regarding the event:
Hey Michael, thanks for doing this interview with us, What do you feel about these online cups similar to this PLAY Tournament?
Hey it was very short. I think it's a good thing. I always find it fun to play tournaments, it's great there are some who still choose to arrange the cups for 1.6 players. So thanks for that.
What would you change in this type of cup?
It is hard to say. It's not your fault that a team that crashes in all their matches so the tournament becomes delayed. It's hard to take reservations for. It is a shame we had to play finals so late. But again, It isn't Fnatic's fault.
Does MVP prize boost your will to try harder as an individual player and have good stats?
Of course you will do everything possible to play as good as possible. But again it is something I certainly always aim for. I never think about such things when you play. If you did that would of course could not perform at all. It's just an extra bonus if you are lucky enough to be awarded an MVP award.
What do you think of your team's performance in this tournament?
If you look at the results, we ended up at second. So it's acceptable, but seems good enough we were really blurry. We really have much to work with. We will try as much as we can work as hard as we can to get better. But we must still be really happy we end up at second place behind one of the world's best team, Fnatic. It is no shame in losing to them. They played really well. We did not play particularly well. We had our moments in the tournament. We also had our moments where everything went bad. We have to become more stable. So I believe we can become a top team one day.
What do you think of your MVP prize?
I'm super happy to get MVP prize and it also feels good that I am doing something nice for my team. Everyone wants MSI laptop, this is like Christmas in May :)
What do you expect of DHS tournament and what are you guys aiming for?
It is of course one of the big events. I expect when all the top teams made up and ready. So it's about to hit the day and really train a lot up to. I hope we can make a surprise for the event.
Thanks for the interview, any last shoutouts?
Thanks for a great tournament. I would like to thank everyone who supports us. We are really happy for all the support we can get. We need it.
