Interview with Druidz - Kalo

After the interview with Bubbels' player Draven, we've also interviewed Druidz player, Kalo. He's very eager to start playing and he gave some nice answers to this short interview!

Q: could you introduce yourself and your team
A: I'm Kalo, playing for Team Druidz. Our team has been playing ra3 for almost 9 years. We loved the idea of Quakelive and we gave it a shot, and here we are, playing ESL and now this fantastic Fnatic cup coming up. We're excited.

What do you think about this type of tournaments and Fnatic's effort to support QuakeLive and many other communities?
A: Well, I can't tell you how my excitement was when I got the ear for this tournament at Dreamhack. I jumped up and down like a 14 year old boy. I forwarded the word to the Swedish Quakelive community quakelive.se and they got right on it. So more cups like these to give quakelive a big push and to be able to make quakelive an eSport en the near future

Draven said he thought it would be better to have a TDM or Duel cup, what do you think about that? Rather CA or another gametype?
Some people are only for TDM, ofcouse it's the oldest mod in the book. And it's more of a strategic, timing and all that. But I think CA is a great game to watch depending on the maps. It's alot of action and fast gameplay which makes it more fun than anything ells in my opinion. Some say we should make cups for only one mod like TDM so we don't split the community to much. But I say go for TDM CA AND DUEL

What do you think about prizes and possibility to double up your money?
Well to be honest I actually don't have a clue what "double up" your money is about. I didn't like the idea to sign up for a poker site when signing up for a cup, but I accept the fact that they sponsor prizemoney for a signup, it's great! Prizes are always welcome and it gives clans and newcomers a bigger interest to get better and to play more.

What are your predictions for the tournament? What's your top three?
Well I strongly believe in ourself to end up on 1/2nd place. But our first match against sexeh will be one of our biggest challenge. My top 3 will be: Weird Monkeys/Druidz 1st, and procedemus 3rd
