Participants have been split into two groups featuring six teams. The group stage will start on the 26th of August and will last until the 8th of September.

The group stage will be played in best-of-one mode and the top three teams will advance to the best-of-three playoffs. The top team of each group will be seeded directly into the semi-finals, while second placed teams will have to play against third placed team from the other group in the quarter finals.

Prize distribution for this event will be as followed:

  • 1st - $3,000
  • 2nd - $1,500
  • 3rd - $500
  •

As Fnatic is a host of MSI Beat it! campaign and a reigning champion of the previous Beat it! tournament and is therefore already invited for the final event in Shanghai, China, they will play only for the prize money. Should they finish in one of the first two places, the third placed team will get the spot in China.
