The first of many qualifiers around the world has come to an end. But it is not over by any means yet. For those of you who have not been able to attend at the first qualifier, the second will commence on the 21th of August. We congratulate to Refuse for winning the first qualifier with thrilling victory over n!Faculty with 2:0 in finals.

If this suits you and your team, be sure to sign up quick as spots are limited to 32 players and open to everyone. The winner of each of the 4 qualifiers will advance onto the shootout which will take place on Saturday, 24th of August. 

Below you will find all the information you need to compete in the qualifier. 

You will find all the information you need for Qualifier #2 below including times to check in and where. It's extremely important that each of you read this back to front and understand all the rules. We will have admins on hand to answer any of your questions on the day but you will find everything you need to know below.

Sign-Up period for Qualifier #2 ends at 16:00 CET on Tuesday, August 21st. You can sign up by following this link: Qualifier #2Please note that it is first come first served. The first 32 teams checked in will have a spot in the event.

Check-In period starts at: 16:00 CET and will end at 17:00 CET.
Meet up channel on Quakenet mIRC: #msibeatit(it is required that at least one player of the team is in the channel , tagged up with the teamname)

We require everyone to be using Easy Anti Cheat, aka EAC, to avoid any questions if people are legit or not. Please use the following program throughout every match you play: EasyAntiCheat

Schedule:

Check in: 16:00 - 17:00 CET
Round of 32: 17:00 - 18:00 CET
Round of 16: 18:00 - 19:00 CET
Quarter Finals: 19:00 - 20:00 CET
Semi Finals: 20:00 - 21:00 CET
Finals: 21:00 CET until Finished

All rounds leading up to the Final will be best-of-1 format. The Finals will be best-of-3. For map selection we will have 5 choices available:

  • de_dust2_se
  • de_inferno_se
  • de_train_se
  • de_nuke_se
  • de_mirage_ce

We will provide you with servers in case you need them.
The process for picking maps will differ on format. For a best-of-1 series it is important that you follow these rules. Please note that Team A will be the team on top in the bracket match. Team B will be the bottom team in the bracket match.

  • Step 1) Team B removes one of the 5 maps.
  • Step 2) Team A removes one of the 4 maps.
  • Step 3) Team B removes one of the remaining maps.
  • Step 4) Team A picks the map to the played.
  • Step 5) The last map will be discarded.

 

This will of course change for a best-of-3 format. The instructions will again be instructed below:

  • Step 1) Team B removes one of the 5 maps.
  • Step 2) Team A removes one of the 4 remaining maps.
  • Step 3) Team A picks one of the 3 remaining maps, this will be the 1st map.
  • Step 4) Team B picks one of the 2 remaining maps, this will be teh 2nd map.
  • Step 5) The last map will be, if needed, the 3rd and final match of the series.

 

Side selection will be decided by knife round. For overtime you do not switch sides at the end of the match.

The remaining qualifiers will take place over the course of this week:

  • August 22nd: EU Qualifier #3.
  • August 23rd: EU Qualifier #4.
  • August 24th: Shootout leading into Main EU Qualifier.
