Half-Life: Counter-Strike

Rulesets and Admins
- The instructions of the admins are to be followed. Failure to do so will result in disqualification.
- Any protests and/or disputes have to be addressed directly to an admin. Admins reserve the right to intervene at any point during a dispute between two participants, as well as to disqualify either one.
- Any violation of the rules and regulations stated for any tournament may result in point deduction, forfeits, prize deduction or even disqualification
- The organisation reserve the right to alter the rules at any time. If a change is made, this will be announced accordingly.
- It is at the admins' discretion how to interpret the rules stated; participants have the right to make a formal protest against any decisions made.
-
Replays
From this point on, we will refer to any in-game recording as replays. For most FPS games, this means that demos are considered replays. This applies to any and all games.- The replays of each match have to be saved at all times, without exceptions.
- All players have to be able to upload their replays at the request of any tournament admin. If any player is unable to provide replays for any match, he or she will be disqualified.
- All replays have to be saved until the tournament they were recorded in has finished and the winners are clear.
-
Match regulations
From hereon, participant may refer to either a team, team captain or individual player, depending on the nature of the game and tournament.- Both participants in a match have to agree to start before doing so. If either has momentary problems, they will inform their opponent immediately.
- In case a match cannot start for any reason, the participants will have to contact an admin in order to resolve the issue. The admins reserve the right to reschedule the match to a fitting date; if a fitting date for both participants cannot be determined, the admin will force a date the match will be played on.
- If either participant is not available within 15 minutes of match start time, it means they effectively forfeit the match, and the other side gets a default win. At this point, due to the nature of the tournaments, participants are not allowed to reschedule matches; all the dates and times stated are fixed.
- When a match has finished, both participants are obliged to report the result to an admin through the IRC channels within 30 minutes. If either participant does not do this, they will effectively forfeit the match and hand the other side a default win. We urge you to report straight after a match, so that there cannot be any confusion about this matter.
-
Coverage
- Admins and coverage partners are allowed to observe any match of any tournament at any time. The rejection of this rule may result in severe penalties, including disqualifications.
- Spectators other than those mentioned above are not allowed.

Players have to be present in this channel with the same nickname they are using during the tournament in order for admins to be able to contact them if necessary.
