  • Sanji's QL CA 5v5 tournament predictions

    Only an hour before the tournament we sat down with Maxime "Sanji" Aladame, A Weird Monkey player from France. He is involved with Quake for a long time now and his experience and knowledge about the game are very big.

    In a quick write-up, he talks about the chances of some of the teams and their shape lately. According to him, Druidz, Bubbels, Procedemus and his own team have the biggest chance to win the tournament.

    Hopefully, we will hear more from Sanji in the QuakeLive TV stream today. Don't forget to record your demos and good luck in the tournament again.

  • QL Map pool and selection

    As stated in the topic on IRC, we've decided to remove DM14 (Grim Dungeons) from the pool, as we needed to remove one, and we felt DM14 is the least suited map for CA out of the original pool.

    Update: DM14 is back in because T7 didn't allow 5v5.

    Due to the amount of teams needing one player to complete their roster we have decided to grant an extended period of time for signups.

  • Draven talks PLAY QL CA 5v5 tournament

    The Fnatic PLAY QuakeLive ClanArena 5v5 CUP attracted a lot of attention and a lot of great players and teams signed up for it. We can see top players mixing with their friends from other teams and it is all set for a great QL show tomorrow. Among many participants, some very familiar names are making this tournament more interesting and attractive.

    Every move by players such as Forever, draven, link1n and razorx will be broadcasted by our partner, QuakeLive TV who will provide full TV stream. Beside just watching the action, QL TV hosts will talk to various guests and players to bring you closer to their emotions and feelings at that moment.

    We caught up with draven from Reason-Gaming, who is playing in a mix team called Bubbels, made mostly of players from Team NL and Reason-Gaming. He was in a rush, but before he left he managed to answer a few questions.

    Just a quick reminder for everyone, the signups for our 5v5 Quakelive ClanArena cup close tomorrow (Saturday) night at 21:00CET. If your team do not have 5 players registered by then you will not be allowed to compete.
